Job description
This person will report into the Director of Brand Marketing and will collaborate closely with Trulieve’ s Product Design Team and Creative Director. The Sr. Graphic Designer will wear multiple hats, developing digital marketing materials, create product packaging in regulation with state and federal guidelines, this could range from collateral to digital media campaigns to include assisting in executive presentations.
Ideally, this person will also have experience with animation and motion design. This position combines expertise in technical creative production, workflow management, creative design and information organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Designer is responsible for all aspects of the design/artwork creation, when artwork is developed internally
- The process includes review of a creative brief, design concept development, and Master File creation
- Creates final packaging art files for printing purposes and certifies that files meet all required printing specs
- Updates packaging art files for reprints as needed
- Ensures all revisions are made to art files in a timely manner
- Assists with the organization, maintenance, and archiving of proofs, packaged art files and graphic assets
- Follows and maintains existing brand and style guidelines
- Collaborates with Brand Teams to adapt brand guidelines across marketing and digital collateral
- Routes art files to internal stakeholders for review and approvals to ensure all content is accurate
- Assists with reviewing proofs submitted by printers for 100% accuracy
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Printing or Graphic Arts, from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five (7) years' experience as a Graphic Artist, Traffic Coordinator, or Print Planner in a corporate environment, preferably with a packaging background.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop.
- Be able to open files, perform text changes, graphic edits, and proof
