Job description
The Sales Operations Lead is a critical part of the Conceptions Business Development success. This role will be based full time in the production facility being the eyes and ears of the customer. This individual will be responsible for forecasting, planning, allocations and reporting. This person will report directly to Production Management.
KEYS TO SUCCESS
- Intimate knowledge of the production schedule and sales order dashboard and how it relates to all customer orders/satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a flexible work environment where task requirements vary widely.
- Strong knowledge of cannabis plant physiology.
- Strong analytical mind set.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Daily variance analysis of plant orders to plants inventory, by cultivar.
- Daily review of Sales Order dashboard to ensure all new orders are accounted for in the production plan.
- Daily communication with all relevant sales individuals regarding plant inventory
- Daily reporting on production plan to actual variance.
- METRC tracking of all sales orders.
- Provide financial and sales updates to cross functional teams and senior leadership.
- Partner with production to understand plant health and determine accurate inventory counts.
- Partner with sales to understand unique customer expectations and work with production teams to ensure all customer requirements are met.
- Provide sales operations planning and analytical support based on KPI assessments
- Act as final quality assurance step for all plants leaving the building.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Business analytics background
- Sales & Operations Planning Certificate
- Supply Chain Management
- Cannabis cultivation experience
