Viola was founded by Al Harrington, a former NBA player who was a first-round pick in the 1998 NBA draft. Job description
The Packaging Team plays a crucial role in our production of high-quality cannabis products and is one of the final stages of our production line. Viola Packagers are responsible for packaging marijuana products and concentrates into various containers, rolling/preparing pre-rolls, cleaning packaging materials and tools, and ensuring product integrity of the SKU being packaged. To be successful in this position the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have an eye for quality of precision and presentation. This position will require working on your feet and/or sitting at a high-top workstation for most of the shift, with some lifting and moving of product and large product containers.
Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling cannabis products in a variety of forms, including fresh plant material and extracted oils
- Measuring bulk product into highly accurate quantities for sale
- Applying labels to product containers
- Preparing and rolling pre-roll products
- Preparing and evaluating finished goods for compliance, inventory maintenance, and sale
- Keeping a clean and organized workstation
- Assisting with deliveries and/or order fulfillment
- Restocking materials and supplies
- Working with teammates to accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Requirements Job Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours daily
- Ability to lift 50 lb. unassisted
- Manual dexterity within a range of repetitive motions
- Attentive to detail and precise measurements
- Basic knowledge of cannabis products and concentrates
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong work ethic
- Ability to work and communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment
** Experience with packaging cannabis products in any capacity is preferred but not required.
