Job description
IT Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the day to day operations of NorCal Cannabis Company; be the point of contact for IT related issues, will independently help other employees with their technology needs, and ensure a timely resolution to IT issues.
This is a full time position located in Santa Rosa reporting to the IT Manager.
COVID-19 vaccination is required for this role
- Helpdesk Support
- Support end-users and NCC systems (Mac OS, Windows, Cloud-based systems, MS Office G-suite, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
- Serve as primary escalation point for IT issues team via chat, phone, in-person, or ticketing system
- Perform installation, operation and maintenance of hardware and software
- Design, update, and maintain IT documentation and knowledge base
- Assist with IT onboarding and training curriculum
- Device Management
- Order, receive, track, and issue physical inventory of IT hardware (computers, peripherals, and accessories)
- Support and maintain AV systems across offices and facilities
- Manage software and hardware licenses and services
- Maintain IP-based security cameras and related equipment
- General IT Support
- Identify and address technical issues across the company
- Evaluate and recommend new software platforms and services
- Assist the IT Manager/Director with implementation projects as needed
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience providing hands-on IT Support
- Experience supporting AV equipment and events
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
- Networking experience preferred
- Problem solving attitude; Strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to independently manage and prioritize workload
- Empathy for the user and possess a strong focus on customer service
- Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
