Apply your IT project management and technical skills to ensure successful delivery of enterprise QA testing services for the Trulieve IT organization. Must be thoroughly familiar with software development and QA testing practices, test report management, and technical team management. The QA Manager will be a core member of the IT QA Center of Excellence in addition to managing a team of testers and supporting the build / ongoing management of the Trulieve test automation technology solution.
Develop, monitor, and control testing strategy and execution for assigned projects.
Identify where automation testing may be appropriate and work with testers to implement.
Work as a collaborative team member who leads by example and supports the growth and empowerment of the QA testers.
Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
Compile and analyze statistical data
Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
Draft quality assurance policies and procedures along with other members of the QA Center of Excellence.
Investigate customer complaints and system issues.
Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Solid understanding of software QA best practices: experience implementing processes and process improvements in QA teams
Experience writing and managing test plans, test cases, and automated scripts
Experience with defect tracking and resolution tools
Test automation experience using multiple automation tools.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Ability to build and manage a team of QA professionals
Demonstrated experience building or participating in the build of an automation testing framework
Understanding of SaaS, web applications, and web services
Bachelor's degree, ideally in and IT field such as CS, MIS, or software engineering
10+ years of experience in the IT-related field
Minimum 7 years of experience testing software, including data intensive, commercial SaaS applications.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a manager, directly managing or overseeing additional QA staff.
Demonstrated proficiency with project management knowledge areas such as risk management, stakeholder management, cost management, and communication management
Experience with testing-as-a-shared-service, preferably with a Testing Center of Excellence
Exceptional understanding of software development and testing principles
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strategic thinking ability
Extensive experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment with fluency in Scrum basics such as backlog planning; defining 'done'; daily standups; planning epics, features, & user stories; and leading/participating in retrospectives
Prior hands-on experience with software development, testing, and enterprise level Quality Assurance
Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
Familiarity with programming script languages including Java, or C#, or python.
