Job description
The Inventory Specialist 1 is responsible in assisting the Inventory Team with all aspects of day-to-day Vault operations and preparing product for sale, including counting, labeling and vault organization. The Inventory Specialist 1 plays a key role within the dispensary to keep the flow of the store moving quickly. This person will utilize our POS system, state mandated seed to sale tracking system, computer technology and will work in conjunction with our merchandise planning/allocations team.
Responsibilities:
Assists the Inventory team with inventory and packagers in the store Report METRC inconsistencies and work with the Inventory Mgr. and Assistant General Manger to resolve expeditiously Handles processing requests appropriately and prioritizes orders to meet sales demand and resolve out of stocks Manages inventory accuracy and logs inventory conversions. Completes all duties relating to the POS system and State regulatory system Runs product reports, purchasing trends, converting, and creating products. Processes incoming stock and 3rd party orders. Intakes and labels product as needed while ensuring compliance guidelines are met Strong sense of urgency. Works in a fast-paced environment. Adheres to all State and local Marijuana and Recreational Department of Health and Cannabis laws. Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned. Work Environment • Retail Dispensary Store Physical Demands • Must be able to lift as much as 50 pounds occasionally • Must be able to carry, bend, stand, file documents, lift, and push/pull as needed Position Type/Expected Hours of Work • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends Travel • None
Required Qualifications • Must be 21 years of age • High School Diploma or equivalent • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Highlighting Excel • Previous Retail or High Dollar Inventory Experience • Strong Math Skills
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 Certified Minimum of 3 years' experience in the field. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
