Job description
The IPaD Admin One is responsible for verifying quality, accuracy, and compliance of all wholesale purchases prior to accepting from order fulfillment and issuing payment. This position is also primarily responsible for preparing all inventory for sale or for back stock systems for inventory specialists through METRC and POS entry. The IPaD Admin One position works closely with the Admin Lead and IPaD Floor Supervisor to ensure all company needs are satisfied with each business transaction. The IPaD Admin One is responsible for ensuring smooth inventory flow to and from the distribution center with compliance as the utmost priority. This position also requires the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and couriers as well as retail operations and wholesale accounts. The holiday seasons (mid Nov- Jan 1st) as well as April 20th, July 4th and other national holidays are expected to be busy and staffing needs will require more staffing.
Job Duties to include some or all of the tasks listed below:
- METRC manifests
- Compliance verification
- Leaflink inventory management
- Intake of product
- Inspection of wholesale consumables
- Assigning names to items in METRC, per SOP
- Point of Sale entry
- A/P for products received
- Documentation
Skills/Certifications:
- Valid Marijuana Enforcement Division issued Employee License; must be maintained
- Must adhere to all applicable Marijuana Enforcement Division regulations and Smokey’s rules
- Ability to be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
- Problem Solving, keeping calm and maintaining confidence while solutions get generated
- Effective communication with your team members.
- Reading Comprehension; Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills.

Experience and Education:
- Attend Responsible Vendor class every 2 years, completing the test with 70% or better bi-yearly.
- Complete the Smokey's Compliance Competency Quiz with a 100%.
- High school Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Inventory/vendor relations/compliance with 2+ years of cannabis industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to work where temperatures between 75-90 degrees with up to 60 % humidity
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- The ability to remain in a seated position, standing, as well as the ability to go back and forth from seated to a standing position for periods of 8-10 hours during their shift
- Bending and stretching
- Must be able to walk up and down 15 stairs 4 times a day
- Admins will need to use items involving latex
- Admins will need to use box cutters to receive orders
