Job description
At the highest level, the HR Coordinator will provide support for several key areas of HR with a special focus on hiring, onboarding, and maintaining personal files as well as assist with special projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and hire candidates
- Conduct new hire orientations and cover all company policies
- Facilitate employee changes, transfers, new hires, terminations, relocation and other employee status change
- Assist with timecard corrections
- Organize and maintain employee files up to date
- Conduct annual I-9 audits
- Stay up to date with new HR laws and regulations by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
- Perform other assignments as directed by manager
The candidate must have
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be bilingual - English and Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of HR experience in any discipline of HR.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain high confidentiality this role demands.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to develop, influence, and maintain strong partnership and relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent project management, multi-tasking, follow through and organizational skills along with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability and willingness to travel between various facilities across California.
