Job description
The Harvester Role is an integral part of the Harvest Department's success on a daily basis. The Harvester is responsible for setting the pace for the Harvest team by efficiently cutting down and processing cannabis plants from the day's batch, and assisting with any other tasks in the department in order to meet daily production goals.
This role is with Florida/Surterra Wellness, one of the renowned retail brands under the Parallel umbrella. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Harvesting between cannabis plants on a weekly basis
- Working with a small team of 10-12 Harvesters
- Additional tasks: De-sticking, De-fanning, Trimming and other tasks in Dry Room/Cure Room
- Adhering to production requirements and plant count goals
- Keeping up with daily KPI's ex: (trimming goals)
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work within a team
- Strong work ethic
- Experience in production and/or agriculture (Preferred)
- Cannabis experience/knowledge (Preferred)
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Light repetitive lifting/reaching
- Standing for extended periods of time (2hrs min/10hrs max)
- Squatting/kneeling
- Ability to work in warm (70-80 degrees) and bright (HPS/LED lights) flower rooms
- Ability to work in dark flower rooms (requires use of head lamp)
- Ability to work in tight spaces
- Consistent hand eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity
