Position Description:
The Transportation Specialist will be responsible for deliveries to licensed medical marijuana sellers as well as logging inventory, loading and unloading orders, and more. This position will require traveling within the state of Maryland by company-provided car.

The Transportation Specialist will be responsible for deliveries to licensed medical marijuana sellers as well as logging inventory, loading and unloading orders, and more. This position will require traveling within the state of Maryland by company-provided car.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed.
- Assist with loading and unloading daily orders.
- Input clearly and accurately manifest documentation POS system.
- Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues.
- Assist cultivation, post-harvest and processing when not on scheduled routes.
- Maintaining accurate inventory, transport and distribution records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our customers.
- Understand and follow all rules and regulations set forth by the state of Maryland for delivery of medical cannabis.
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures as set forth in company's Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Two years of experience in a comparable position
- Proven experience as a Driver
- Valid Driver license
- Clean driving record
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
- Availability to occasionally take weekend
- Polite and professional disposition
- Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all company regulations.
- Must have a cellphone.
