Job description
Work closely with the Concentrate Specialist and Extraction Supervisor to produce the highest accuracy in Marijuana Infused Products (MIP). Responsible for ensuring all formulations are precise and follow the specific guidelines in place to improve and promote quality. Maintains a safe and compliant laboratory environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow NETA Policies & Procedures for safe and accurate daily operations, ensuring full compliance with state medical marijuana regulations
- Creates / formulates products in accordance with needs set by Concentrate Specialist/Extraction Supervisor
- Reformulate failed product samples, resample, and send to labs with assistance from inventory team
- Operates extraction and distillation equipment, including rotary evaporator to process hazardous waste; cleans and maintains equipment (as necessary), always ensuring functional equipment and work area
- Ensures accurate counts of all product/socks during all phases of project
- All other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Marijuana Infused Products Lab Technician required
- Comfortable with learning how to properly handle flammable, hazardous materials and pressurized equipment
- Ability to focus and be task oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member, be organized and have extreme attention to detail
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lab/prep kitchen environment
- Requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Consistent attention to detail for 8 hours per day
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously
- Consistent hand eye coordination and excellent hand dexterity
- Will work with and around cannabis plants and plant products on a regular and frequent basis
