Job description
The Inventory Supervisor helps ensure all the daily tasks of the department get properly executed. This position requires a leader that has experience in every workstation of the department and strong cannabis knowledge. Priorities include providing full support to the team, assisting with rest/lunch breaks, communicating departmental updates, and executing all processes within the department. The Inventory Supervisor will serve as one of the main points of contact for product related inquiries (cultivators/vendors, strain, content information),product trends, and employee performance, and must collaborate with management to while help maintain a high team morale.
AVAILABILITY
Full shift availability (nights, weekends, and holidays required)
COMPENSATION
Starting hourly wage, $22/hourly
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the site is in full compliance with all local and state laws while assisting with regulatory inspections
- Work cross-functionally through the operation and maintain a hands-on “lead by example” approach
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees in the unit
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all store vendors, products/strains, and industry trends
- Assisting the team with inquiries and product information while ensuring optimal organization is achieved
- Collaborate with the Floor department on all service and product related processes/matters
- Implement and manage all Company policies and procedures
- Assist with the hiring, training, coaching, and development of employees
- Delegate, manage, and empower the team to achieve an optimal performance
- Align with the Inventory Manager to set, meet, and manage all financial and operational goals
- Assist in any and all areas to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success
QUALIFICATIONS
- 21+ and currently residing in the USA
- High School Diploma or GED
- Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)
- Associate Degree or industry training equivalent (preferred)
- Retail experience, 2+ years (preferred)
- Cannabis industry experience, 2+ years (preferred)
- Inventory management experience, 1+ years (preferred)
- Team building & management experience, 1+ years (preferred)
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, planning, & organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, critical thinker, problem solver, & assessor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Fast-paced, rapid-changing, retail dispensary environment
- Back of the house, inventory-care focused areas/stations
- Confined workstations in close proximity to other people (employees, guests, vendors)and crowds
- Handling cannabis products and packaged goods
- Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities)
*NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
