Job description
The Marketing Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of Conception’s marketing program. This includes using a variety of marketing tools, channels, and creative content to drive lead generation, improve customer retention, support sales and advance the Conception brand. This person will manage day-to-day marketing activities as well as long-term strategy while responding to changing needs of business.
This position will report to the VP of Business Development
Keys to success in this role include:
- Ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams and departments and build effective relationships and influence change.
- Proven success building sales-marketing campaigns utilizing website and SEO to social media and email campaigns to achieve sales targets.
- Excellence as a brand manager with an eye for design elements and experience designing interactive applications.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines on time.
Responsibilities to include:
- Build a comprehensive marketing plan to drive revenue and sales growth in key markets and in national expansion.
- Build and own the management of the multi-channel campaign strategy to drive new business and expansion opportunities.
- Use various platforms and segments to support specific marketing objectives and initiatives.
- Collaborate with sales, operations and product development teams on campaign implementation, lead routing, and follow up.
- Actively monitor all campaign analytics, partner with the business intelligence team to create appropriate campaign reporting, and communicate results effectively to the broader team. Provide strategic direction and recommendations based on analysis of results.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies/vendors.
- Manage marketing projects end to end.

What you bring to the role:
- 5-7 years of marketing experience.
- Past experience in driving marketing to create new business and expand customer accounts.
- A strong creative mind with the ability to ideate new campaign approaches and content
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business
- Cannabis industry marketing experience (required)
- Computer Skills: Google Workspace, CRM, Email and text marketing campaign software
