Job description
At Amuse, we are seeking passionate individuals to represent the Amuse brand which prides itself on our customer experience. The Expeditor will partner with the dispatch team and Delivery Associates, as well as provide oversight and direction to Delivery Associates to ensure proper execution of our standard operating procedures.

- Expediting: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure orders are packed in a timely manner and are expedited to delivery associates efficiently
- Oversee picking efficiency and management of the inventory room if issues arise
- Communicate issues in the inventory room to the on-duty router; such as: expired, missing, or out of stock products
- Manage orders in Treez
- Ensure verification of customers
- Monitor orders in processings
- Efficiently move orders out for delivery upon expediting to delivery associate
- Maintain Slack communications with various departments devoted to deliveries
- Manage ZenDesk tickets related to depot escalations from internal employees or customer service
- Communicate tasks issues to CS via ZenDesk for routing related purposes
- Communicate with Central Ops if any DA issues arise (late arrivals, call-outs, accidents, vehicle issues, other unexpected on-the-road issues, etc.)
- Monitor & spot-check routes to ensure accuracy & efficiency. Escalate issues/discrepancies to CO for necessary adjustments
- Communicate any route changes/adjustments/updates to the UTR team in-person in addition to via slack
Driver Management:
- Track returned orders
- Log and restock failed orders
- Reprint receipts for delivery associates on-the-road that received price adjustments for successful deliveries
- Build delivery associate kits for their respective shifts
- Check-in delivery associates for their respective shifts
- Support delivery associates with on-the-road issues
- Help resolve delivery associate technical issues
- Help alert delivery associates of potential traffic or on-the-road issues
- Track driver performance ensuring on-time and delivery successful rate meet daily goals
- Manage all driver requests for the day and communicate to the appropriate team members
- Debrief delivery associates
- Confirm all equipment is properly sanitized and returned
- Ensure all devices are placed in charging stations [if required]
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Previous experience as dispatcher is a plus
- General computer literacy
- Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for customer service
- Must be efficient with strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks
- Must have strong skills in organization and planning; demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust, respect, and customer obsession
- Working as a team player and contributing to the team accordingly
- Understanding of cannabis products
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Good time management skills
- Cash handling experience
- Solution based attitude/mentality, problem solver, ability to make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment
- Must possess a high degree of personal ownership and accountability
- Must have a high level of organization
