Job description
Torrey Holistics; San Diego's premier cannabis company is looking for a Cannabis Consultant for our growing store.
Sales consultants assist customers with all inquiries and purchases. This position works to ensure customers feel welcome in the store. The Sales Consultant maintains a positive attitude and is able to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds. This position starts at $15.00 per hour plus tips. Employees receive a generous discount as well.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Identify patient and customer needs, present and answer questions about our products and recommend solutions
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Ability to work irregular shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Meet monthly sales quotas
Preferred skills and experience:
- Cannabis knowledge is preferred
- Some experience in retail, hospitality
- Must possess good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow directions
- Strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to do frequent bending, squatting, and kneeling
- Must be able to stand for up to at least 4 hours at a time
- Must be able to sit for at least 1 hour at a time
- Must be able to frequently lift and move merchandise up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work: days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
- Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
