The candidate will be responsible for transforming data into insight to assist the retail operations team in making informed decisions and maximize the value offered to Cloud’s customers. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated reports and self-service solutions capable of scaling as Cloud Cannabis continues to grow. You will be the expert who can provide ad-hoc support and help educate stakeholders on interpreting the results of an analysis. The candidate will report directly to the Director of Operations, creating the opportunity to provide value in every conversation affecting the direction and performance of the retail operations.
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect scalable business intelligence solutions and processes
- Create robust dashboards where stakeholders can easily generate insights
- Become the go-to person if stakeholders have questions or issues with data or data visualizations
- Diagnose issues in real-time and provide guidance with key performance indicators and visualizations
- Partner with business leaders to provide strategic and tactical support
- Run ad-hoc analyses to help drive projects and key business initiatives forward
- Document data definitions, key metrics and sample reports, ensuring alignment and consistency in reporting across all retail operations
Required Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting fundamentals, including but not limited to, sales, cost of goods sold, and inventory management
- Experience with SQL and Python (or R)
- Proficient with spreadsheet software (Google and Excel)
