NOBO Michigan LLC is a multi-brand, vertically integrated cannabis organization focused on growth, sustainability, and optimization. We oversee every step of growing and processing of cannabis to ensure we create the industry's best products with our customers in mind.
We are seeking a part-time Budtender for our Benton Harbor retail location who has night and weekend availability. Our ideal candidate has superior customer service skills, is self-motivated, and has point-of-sale and cash handling experience. This candidate also has the following qualities:
- 21 years of age or older.
- 3+ years of customer service, cash handling, and point-of-sale experience.
- Positive outlook and attitude.
- A true interest in learning about cannabis.
- Reliable transportation and is punctual.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony.
- Must not be registered as a primary caregiver or must withdraw registration as a registered primary caregiver prior to accepting an official Offer of Employment.
Tasks and Expectations:
- Responsible for retail support and provides polite and friendly service. Assists with customer check-in, curbside delivery, point of sale transactions, quality control, waste management, sanitation, and facility maintenance.
- Monitors customer retention while striving to maximize facility resources.
- Communicates customer and staff issues to the General Manager and leadership in a timely manner.
- Promotes store specials and participates in upselling products.
- Maintains professionalism even when faced with difficult situations.
- Assists store leadership in identifying strategies to implement efficiencies, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains provisioning center inventory management documentation to include point of sales transactions and waste management.
- Operates, cleans, and sanitizes store equipment in a safe and effective manner as dictated by company policies and procedures.
- Maintains relevant facility records according to federal, state, and local regulations as directed by the General Manager and store leadership.
- Fosters a positive and communicative work environment.
- Requests continuing education as needed.
- Assists store leadership in managing supply and inventory levels.
- Adheres to NOBO’s rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Follow all company Crisis Response Procedures.
- Supports NOBO’s overall strategy and values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates superior problem-solving, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong counting, tracking, inventory management, and customer service skills
- Ability to work with a diverse team and be a team player.
- Working knowledge of the cannabis industry and the associated federal, state, and local municipal laws and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can stand for long periods of time.
- Qualified applicants have an aptitude for comprehending compliance and the ability to adhere to regulatory framework and internal procedures as directed.
- Handles sensitive and confidential business matters with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and implement process efficiencies.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must possess a sense of urgency and ability to meet established deadlines.
- Self-driven with a high degree of accountability.
