Job description
The Analyst, Real Estate will support real estate strategy and execution for Cresco. The role supports transaction activities by providing site review, financial analysis, reporting, developing final deliverables, and completing special projects. The role is a growth opportunity with exposure to a broad stakeholder group. Initially, this role will support Florida and can be based out of Cresco’s Chicago Corporate or Ft. Lauderdale office.
CORE JOB DUTIES
- Researches markets and uses various demographic and modeling tools in support of real estate strategy.
- Responsible for financial modeling of prospective transactions.
- Creates maps and other visuals using software tools
- Coordinates workflow of LOIs and Leases to facilitate ease of communication with legal support teams.
- Works with 3rd party resources such as brokers, facility assessors, legal, and others
- May travel to and visit prospective sites.
- Works in conjunction with other stakeholder groups to track municipal and other approvals.
- Develops final presentations for leadership approval.
- Participates in relevant trade and industry events.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, mortgage, or commercial real estate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills.
- Ability to interface with landlords and 3rd party resources.
- Strong research and analytical skills and ability to communicate data driven recommendations
- Independent worker with a team player attitude.
- Strong excel, powerpoint skills and ability to use mapping tools.
